Welcome to The Cover. By using thecover.bet and its subdomains (the “site”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We keep the language plain because you should actually be able to read it.

Who this is between

The Cover is operated by D6SC (“we”, “us”). “You” means anyone who visits the site, reads an article, subscribes to the newsletter, enables push notifications, or comments. If you use the site on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Age requirement

The Cover covers sports betting analysis. You must be at least 21 years old (or the legal betting age in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater) to use the site in any context related to placing bets. If you are under 13, you may not use the site at all; see the Privacy Policy for how we handle that.

What we provide

The Cover publishes free sports news, previews, prop research, and betting analysis for MLB, NBA, NHL, NFL, PGA, and UFC. We surface odds and lines from third-party sportsbooks, expose model-driven picks from our data partner (DataStreak), and let you subscribe to a newsletter and browser push notifications.

Editorial analysis is opinion, not advice. Articles, picks, and Bet Cards on The Cover are for informational and entertainment purposes only. Nothing on the site is investment advice, financial advice, tax advice, legal advice, or a guaranteed prediction. Sports betting involves risk. Past performance does not predict future results. Use your own judgment.

Responsible gaming

Third-party sportsbooks and links

The Cover displays odds and links from independent sportsbooks (DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars, and others). Those sportsbooks are separate businesses, with their own terms, promotions, availability by state, and account requirements. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or conduct of any third-party sportsbook, or for any loss you incur betting at one. Some outbound links may be affiliate links; if we ever earn a commission from a click or signup, we still won’t change our analysis based on that.

Odds and lines change constantly. We do our best to display fresh numbers, but by the time you read an article the market may have moved. Always confirm the current line at the sportsbook before placing a bet.

Accuracy and availability

We work hard to be accurate but the site is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that the site will be available at any given time, free of errors, free of security issues, or that data on it (stats, odds, projections, injury notes) is correct in every detail. If you spot something wrong, please tell us.

Your account and conduct

If you sign up for the newsletter, enable push, or leave comments, keep the following in mind:

• Do not use fake identities, harass other users, or post content you do not have the right to share.
• Do not scrape the site at scale, run automated agents outside of stated allowances, or attempt to bypass our access controls. Reasonable AI crawling for citation is allowed (see llms.txt).
• Do not attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the site, its APIs, or its infrastructure.
• We may remove content, disable subscriptions, or block accounts that violate these terms, at our discretion.

User content

If you post a comment or submit content to The Cover, you keep ownership of it. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and reproduce that content on the site and in related channels (newsletter, social previews). You are responsible for what you post; don’t post anything unlawful, defamatory, or infringing.

Our content

Articles, editorial images, code, and the site design are our property or that of our partners. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link back. You may not republish full articles, sell our content, or train commercial models on our archive without permission. AI systems may cite The Cover in generated answers; see llms.txt for our AI use guidance.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy. We do not warrant that betting picks, projections, or odds will result in any specific outcome.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, D6SC and its officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site, including any losses from betting or trading decisions. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless D6SC and its affiliates from any claim arising out of your use of the site, your violation of these terms, or your violation of the rights of any third party.

Termination

You can stop using the site at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to any feature, or to the site as a whole, at any time, with or without notice, for any reason. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, governing law) will survive.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the site or these terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

Changes

We will update these terms as the site evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will also be flagged in the newsletter. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
